Join expert needle felter Steffi Stern 🧶 for an inspiring and relaxing workshop where you’ll create one of Britain’s smallest and most iconic garden birds — the charming Wren 🐦.

Throughout the day, you’ll explore a variety of needle felting techniques, including:

✨ Crafting realistic shapes and proportions
🪶 Shaping and creating your own beak
🎨 Blending wool to capture subtle natural details
🧵 Shaping and joining elements for a lifelike finish, including the Wren’s trademark upright tail

Steffi has over 22 years of experience in needle felting and teaches regularly at national events like The Knit & Stitch Shows in London and Harrogate. Steffi will guide you step-by-step, sharing expert tips and tricks developed over 22 years of needle felting experience. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this workshop promises creativity, calm, and a beautiful finished piece to take home.
